As a Constant Contact partner for the last four years, we’re here to share what’s new as of January 2019 to help you utilize these features for your business. Constant Contact claims that 2019 is “the year to make your email marketing the best it’s ever been,” so here’s how you can step up your game:
Dynamic Content Blocks
Do you have information that you only want to be displayed to a certain audience? Dynamic Content Blocks allow you to send emails to all of your contacts while still giving you the option to make specific information visible to the target audience demographics that you set, such as state, age, company name, etc.
Shopify Abandoned Cart Emails
Constant Contact has made inroads with retail businesses by integrating several useful eCommerce features, such as Shopify abandoned cart emails. Shopify is a platform for retail sites that allows you “start, grow, and manage a business.” One of the biggest frustrations when it comes to managing this type of business is customers abandoning their carts. However, not all hope is lost because customers can be re-engaged by sending an abandoned cart reminder email. This can be done by linking your Shopify account to your Constant Contact account. This email is completely customizable by changing the store name, headline, description, buttons, product prices, and store link. You can even upload your logo and change the background color. According to EduBirdie, approximately 34% of people who abandoned online shopping carts were just looking and not ready to purchase. However, this shows interest, which is the first step in getting your foot in the door.
BigCommerce Integration
Constant Contact has made things easy by integrating BigCommerce, making syncing contacts a breeze. The list updates daily, so you always have the most up-to-date customers who want to receive your emails.
Facebook Lookalike Audience
Searching for new leads can be tough, but with Facebook Lookalike Audience, you can use your current contact list to find Facebook accounts that are similar and not already part of your list. Once this is created, it can be customized with a Facebook Lead Ad. When the ad is published, the accounts with similar characteristics are able to join your list if they choose to do so. What a great way to find new customers!
